PLAINVIEW, TX (KCBD) - The driver of a green minivan is recovering Tuesday after losing control of his vehicle and crashing into a downtown Plainview boutique.

The driver, identified as Jordan Lee Rodriguez of Plainview, lost control of the van Monday afternoon just before 3:30 p.m. According to a police report he reportedly suffered a seizure.

The van was heading east along W. 5th Street, also known as U.S. Highway 70, when it veered to the right and hit the curb in front of Cynthia’s Heart’s Desire, a home decor store at 107 W. 5th.

The van then ran through the glass front of the building, finally stopping roughly 20 feet inside the store.

The store posted on their Facebook page that thankfully nobody inside the store was injured in the crash.
