LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - According to officials with the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office, a wanted gang member was arrested just after 3 p.m. on Dec. 2, 2019.
A news release says the Lubbock Texas Anti-Gang Center arrested 37-year-old Raymond Scott Rivera during a routine traffic stop in the 2100 block of 50th Street.
Rivera was the driver and the only person in the vehicle. He stopped the vehicle and ran off.
Deputies say he was captured and taken into custody.
He was placed under arrest and taken to the Lubbock County Detention Center on a Pardon and Parole Board warrant for Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Evading Arrest on Foot.
The Lubbock Texas Anti-Gang Center, Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office, and Lubbock Police Department assisted in this arrest.
