LP&L: Power restored to all customers after southwest Lubbock outage

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - About 3,000 people in southwest Lubbock were without power Thursday afternoon.

According to officials with LP&L, contracted construction workers in southwest Lubbock damaged an electrical line that caused two circuits to be locked out, affecting about 3,000 customers.

The outage was from 34th Street to about 60th Street and Quaker Avenue to Frankford Avenue.

Lubbock Police were at major intersections to help direct traffic.
