West Carlisle Fire Chief Tim Smith says the structure was abandoned, adding there was a travel trailer behind the mobile home where the fire originated. The travel trailer was destroyed and people living there arrived on scene later. They are being assisted by the Red Cross.

The Fire Chief reports neighbors heard what sounded like an explosion and then saw the house in flames.

There is no word on what started the fire. No civilian or first responder injuries were reported.
