LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - The Lubbock Police Department is investigating after a body was found in West Lubbock, Saturday morning. On Aug. 3, police released information saying the deceased was a 1-month-old child.
Police received the report of a dead person in the 2500 block of Inler Avenue around 6:45 a.m. At the time, the age of the person was not released to the public.
When EMS arrived, they found a one-month-old deceased.
The case is still under investigation by the Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit.
There is no word on how the infant died.
