LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Texas Tech fell to Oklahoma State in overtime Saturday, losing 82-77.
The Red Raiders fell behind early in the first half, trailing by as much as 12 points.
In the second half, Tech stormed back tying the game at 51 at the 8:15 mark after Kyler Edwards knocked down two free throws. However, a late illegal screen called on Edwards would ultimately result in the teams going to overtime tied at 68.
In overtime, the Red Raiders were held to nine points and forced into costly turnovers.
Next Texas Tech will host Kansas State Tuesday, January 5th at 6 p.m. in the United Supermarkets Arena.
