Suspect in custody after Central Lubbock shooting

Argument leads to Central Lubbock shooting

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Lubbock Police now have a suspect in custody after a shooting that happened around 11:15 a.m. in the 1900 block of 24th Street, in the Heart of Lubbock neighborhood.

21-year-old Tristen Ray Shepard is in custody, taken to the Lubbock County Detention Center.

Police say it started as a verbal dispute between Shepard and the 39-year-old victim. Police say the victim was hit twice and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
