LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - The 9th ranked Red Raiders won their ninth game in a row as they rallied to beat Gonzaga 5-4 in the opener of a 12 game homestand at Rip Griffin Park.
Tech trailed 3-2 in the 7th until Nate Rombach hit a bases clearing triple to put the Red Raiders in front 5-3.
Jace Jung hit his sixth home run of the season.
After losing their first 3 games of the season, the Red Raiders are now 9-3.
Tech closes out a two game mid-week series with Gonzaga at 1pm tomorrow. UCONN then comes in for 4. #20 Oklahoma State follows to open up Big 12 play. The homestand ends with South Florida at Dan Law Field to close out March.
