Idalou, Sands girls learn State Tourney opponents

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - The UIL has released the Semifinal matchups for the Girls State Basketball Tournament. Idalou (3A) and Sands (1A) will be heading to San Antonio to compete.
No. 8 Idalou faces No. 2 Fairfield at 1:30 p.m. Thursday. The other 3A semifinal has No. 6 Winnsboro vs No. 10 Bishop at 3 p.m. Thursday.
The winners meet 10 a.m. Saturday for the 3A State Championship.
In Class 1A, No. 1 Sands faces No. 3 Huckabay at 10 a.m. Thursday in San Antonio.
No. 4 Robert Lee takes on No. 6 Neches at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in the other State Semifinal.
The winners will meet Saturday at 8:30 a.m. for the 1A State Title.
