One shot, killed in central Lubbock robbery
Police have identified the victim shot and killed in a Central Lubbock robbery Thursday afternoon.

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Police have identified the victim shot and killed in a Central Lubbock robbery Thursday afternoon.
Just before 4 p.m., officers responded to reports of a robbery near 13th and Ave. T where they found 65-year-old Martin Martinez lying on the ground outside. He died at the scene from a gunshot wound, according to investigators.
Police say this appears to be an isolated incident and believe there is no threat to the public.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
