Man arrested following SWAT callout in Wolfforth

WOLFFORTH, Texas (NEWS RELEASE) - On July 30, 2024, at approximately 4:06 p.m. the Lubbock County SWAT Division was conducting a fugitive investigation in the 9000 block of Canoga in Wolfforth, Texas.

A wanted fugitive 47-year-old Trenity Bailey wanted on an active warrant was positively identified at the address.

SWAT attempted to contact the suspect, who refused to exit the home.

Due to the nature of the situation a full SWAT callout was initiated.

At approximately 5:46 p.m. Bailey exited the residence and was taken into custody and transported to the Lubbock County Detention Center on a warrant for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.

The investigation is still ongoing.
