The Difference Maker Project invited everyone to surround the family of Truett Mortensen with light and strength in their time of need.

According to the Department of Public Safety, 15-year-old Truett was riding on an ATV with two others in Kent County when the driver lost control of the vehicle. He was thrown from the ATV and then pinned.

Truett died at the hospital.

As the Mortensen family navigates the unthinkable, others gathered at a candlelight vigil tonight to remind them that they are not alone.
