Dylan Villa joined KCBD in August of 2022. He interned for the evening newscasts before moving in January 2023 to produce the morning newscasts.
He is currently a reporter during the week and anchors Daybreak Today on Saturday & Sunday mornings.
Dylan grew up near the Dallas area, finding a deep love for sports that naturally made for a love in Broadcast Journalism.
Dylan graduated from Collin Community College in December 2019 with an associate’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. He moved to Lubbock in August 2020 to further pursue a career in Journalism and graduated from Texas Tech in December 2022 with a bachelor's in journalism and a minor in Creative Media Industries.
Dylan is excited to continue bringing you the best South Plains coverage and hopes to provide the best in news for years to come.
