A Lubbock woman was indicted Wednesday afternoon by a federal grand jury and accused of creating child pornography.
Megan Lee Norman, 18, was already in jail after Lubbock police last week conducted a prostitution sting at the Overton Hotel and Conference Center. The hotel said that management had no idea any illegal activity was going on.
But now, federal officials accuse Norman of creating a computer video of an underage girl. If tried and convicted on the federal charge, Norman faces between 15 and 30 years in prison, which does not include her state charges of prostitution and compelling prostitution.
