Shallowater foundation distributes $26,323 in teacher grants

The Shallowater Education Foundation turned over $26,323 in education grants Tuesday. The funds will be used for classroom instruction at various campus locations.

Awards ranging from $500 to $1,500 were given individual teachers or teams of teachers who submitted grant proposals. The successful grant applications were evaluated and approved by the Shallowater Education Foundation program committee.
