Red Raider lose tough one in Missouri

Texas Tech let one slip away as James Franklin's touchdown run with 2:22 left gave Missouri their first lead of the game as the Tigers held on for the 31-27 win.

Tech had a chance as Seth Doege moved them inside Missouri's 10 with under a minute to play but Doege's pass was tipped and intercepted ending Tech's hopes of winning.

The Red Raiders scored on their first possession of the game, a Bradley Marquez TD run and on their first possession of the 2nd half, a field goal.

With Tech's lead cut to 3, on 3rd and 7 from Missouri's 25, Seth Doege threw a beautiful pass to Darrin Moore for the touchdown with 1 seconds left in the third to put the Red Raiders up 27-17.

Seth Doege was 37 of 53 for 315 yards with 1 touchdown and a costly interception.

With the loss, the Red Raiders lose their 4th straight and fall to 5-6. Next week In the regular season finale, two long streaks will continue or end when Texas Tech plays Baylor 6pm Saturday at Cowboys Stadium. Texas Tech has beat Baylor 15 straight times and has been bowl eligible 18 straight years, the 4th longest streak in College Football.

The Red Raiders must beat Baylor to keep both streaks alive.
