LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - An overnight accident sent four people to the hospital early Tuesday.

At around 1:00 a.m., Travis Tickle, 22 was driving at an unsafe speed down Glenna Goodacre with passenger Matthew Rodriguez, 22. Tickle ran a stop sign at the intersection of Glenna Goodacre and Avenue Q, hitting a pickup truck driven by Luis Mireles, 46, and passenger Yolanda Gonzales, 38.

The pickup hit Tickle's driver's side and the impact ejected both Rodriguez and Gonzales from their vehicles. Neither were wearing seatbelts.

Tickle's vehicle also collided with two parked vehicles before rolling onto its side in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn. Firefighters had to cut Tickle out of the car.

EMS took all four people to the hospital with serious injuries. Tickle has been treated and released but Rodriguez is in critical condition at UMC.

Mireles and Gonzales are both in fair condition at Covenant Medical Center.

Police do not know at this time if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the accident. Please check back with KCBD NewsChannel 11 for updates.
