You could make a big difference in the fight against cancer by joining a major cancer prevention study targeting West Texas.
It all starts with a lunch sponsored by the American Cancer Society to kick off this special campaign, not to raise money, but to find people who are willing to be a part of this 20 year study with periodic surveys about your lifestyle in west Texas.
Dr. Tedd Mitchell, president of the Texas Tech health sciences center, will be key note speaker at the cancer prevention study kick-off luncheon that is on April 2nd at the McInturff center at UMC.
Tickets are 15 dollars each, or you can reserve a table for 8 for just $115. To RSVP: call 792-2178
