Arbor Hotel and Conference Center to bring 72 new jobs to Lubbock

Arbor Inn and Suites is proud to announce the groundbreaking for a sister property, Arbor Hotel and Conference Center. Construction is underway, and the hotel is slated to open spring of 2015.

Rob Meyer and partners held a ceremonial groundbreaking press conference, Tuesday, May 13th at 10 a.m. at the Arbor Hotel and Conference Center at 6401 62nd Street.

"Lubbock is a fantastic place to operate a family owned business, and we are proud the city provides our industry an abundance of leisure, business, and university tourism. This allows us to provide Lubbock with more hotel options and employment" says Rob Meyer, Operating Partner of Arbor Inn and Conference Center.

Arbor Hotels are about offering greater choice and enhanced recognition to customers in a growing collection of hotels managed by a team whose values reflect local traditions, lifestyles, and cultures.

The new hotel will bring approximately 72 new jobs to Lubbock and will expand the current organizational structure.

Arbor Hotel and Conference Center aims to launch several more local and regional partnerships by providing amenities, such as 3,000 square feet of conference space, an airport shuttle, a boardroom and a restaurant. This new hotel will be fully equipped with accommodations for all, including but not limited to, the business travelers, leisure seekers, and sports enthusiasts.
