LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Two people charged in a South Lubbock murder could be heading to trial.

A Lubbock County Grand Jury indicted Mayra Caraveo and Noel Serrano on Tuesday.

Both remain behind bars tonight.

They're accused in the July 30 death of Fabian Rios.

He was discovered shot and stabbed outside of a home on 89th near Avenue U.

Serrano turned himself in to Lubbock police shortly after U.S. Marshals arrested Caraveo in Hobbs.

Each is held on a $1 million bond.
