LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A deputy from the Midland County Sheriff's Office was shot and killed on Thursday.

CBS7 says Deputy Mike Naylor was killed while serving a warrant for child sexual abuse charges.

The funeral service for Deputy Naylor will be Tuesday morning in Midland. He will be buried in Hobbs, New Mexico.

They say two sources have identified a man named Dan Higgins as a suspect in the shooting.
