LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The rainy weather didn't damper the spirit of West Texas Cheerleading Squads in the American Cheer Power Competition.

Josh Quinteno said, "It has been kind of a dreary day so far but there have been a lot of parents and kids come out so it has been fun so far."

The competition is for beginner levels to advanced. Squads traveled from Amarillo and other Panhandle towns to compete.
