LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Dean of the Medical School has published a crime story, and he's not just the author, he's the victim!
Dr. Steven Berk has written a book about a bizarre home invasion that took him on a wild ride with a kidnapper in Amarillo some years ago.
The book is called "Anatomy of a Kidnapping." It's just been released in paperback.
Look for it online or at any major bookstore.
I've read it and I couldn't put it down.
The story is good and it's even more interesting because the places are familiar, and what happened to Dr. Berk is everybody's nightmare.
