Power outage in Northwest Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - LP&L crews are working to restore power to about 140 customers in Northwest Lubbock.

Police say a pickup truck hit a utility pole, near 17th Street and Orlando Avenue, around 2 a.m. Friday.

The accident knocked down two power lines, cutting power to up to 3,000 customers.

LP&L rerouted power to restore electricity to most of the customers.

Crews are on the scene working to restore power to customers on 17th and 18th Streets.
