LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Kidnapped 2-year-old Zoii Berrillo-Dunn was found safe on Wednesday. The girl was in the back seat of a car when it was stolen.

She appeared to be unharmed but was taken for a medical examination at UMC.

The girl was found in the abandoned vehicle in an alley at 127th and Avenue L on Wednesday morning.

Police found the vehicle after an exhaustive grid by grid search of the city that expanded out into Lubbock County early on Wednesday morning.

LPD Public Information Officer Lt. Ray Mendoza admitted that they have no clear information about the suspect. They believe he may be a "light-complected black male."

The child's mother was not able to get a good look at them, but Mendoza asks if you saw anyone walking around the area of 127th and Avenue L on Tuesday night, if you saw anyone call for a ride and get picked up from this area, or if you have any information about this incident, please contact Crime Line at 741-1000.
