LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Grand Jury at the Lubbock County Courthouse has just indicted a Lubbock father for the murder of his daughter.
Members say there is enough evidence to send Justin Chisum to trial for capital murder in the death of his daughter, Kylee Forrest.
Authorities discovered the 4-year-old's body at Chisum's apartment near 4th and Slide back on February 1.
They later arrested Chisum, naked, a few blocks away.
According to the indictment, he's accused of striking Forrest with a hard object, or striking her against a hard object.
Chisum remains in the Lubbock County Detention Center on a $1 million bond.
