BRENHAM, TX (KCBD) - The clean-up process at one of Blue Bell's plants may take longer than planned.
State Health inspectors found crickets in a storage room, dirty mop buckets and mildew at Blue Bell's plant in Brenham.
Over the last four years, dozens of violations were noted by state health officials.
But none of the issues led to formal warnings or fines for the creamery.
The facility in Brenham, along with a plant in Oklahoma have been at the center of a deadly Listeria outbreak.
The reports show all issues were promptly corrected.
Just last week, Blue Bell recalled all of its products nationwide after two more tests for Listeria turned up positive at the facility in Brenham.
