One injured in East Lubbock shooting

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - One person is in the hospital after an early-morning shooting at 1700 E. Brown Street.
Police say the victim was sitting in their vehicle around 5 a.m. Saturday when an unknown suspect approached, shot them, and fled the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital but their injuries are not life-threatening.
