On Sunday, April 26th, at approximately 11:46 a.m., we received a call about a robbery at Dollar General located at 2862 34th Street. The suspect walked in to the store and using two hand-held shopping baskets collected several items. The suspect then passed all points of purchase and went straight for the exit. The clerk confronted the suspect and a struggle for the baskets ensued. The clerk managed to strip both baskets from the suspect and the suspect ran off. The clerk injured her hand in the struggle. The suspect ran to a green Ford Explorer car and left the scene.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds. He was wearing a white t-shirt and shorts.

The Lubbock Police Department urges anyone with any information relating to this case to contact Crime Line at 741-1000 or Detective Paulk at 775-2413.
