LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Three people are behind bars after a car chase that started in Hockley County and ended in Lubbock County.
Hockley County Deputy Johnson says around 9 p.m. Wednesday in Anton, officers were dispatched to a residence concerning a man was there with a gun. The suspect left the residence in a gray-black Hyundai Sedan. A deputy located the vehicle at an intersection near the residence at which point the pursuit began.
Pursuit started in Anton and ended in Lubbock around the 7500 block and I-27 at Applegate Mobile Home Park. During the pursuit, the suspect tried to ram officers' vehicles. When the pursuit ended in mobile home park, the suspect fled on foot but was shortly apprehended.
Two males and one female were arrested and are being held in the Lubbock County Detention Center awaiting extradition back to Hockley County.
Their names and mugshots will be posted on the Hockley County website located on the sheriff's page once they are brought back.
Hockley County, DPS, Shallowater PD, LPD, and Lubbock County all responded to the pursuit.
