LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - One suspect is in custody after refusing to leave a room at the Coronado Inn in north Lubbock Friday afternoon.
Lt. Ray Mendoza tells us that officers went to serve a warrant on Nicholas Sharp, 24.
Sharp was arrested in connection with an aggravated robbery that happened around 3:15 a.m. Tuesday morning in the 5500 block of 95th Street.
Police say the suspect broke a bedroom window where the female victim was in bed. He climbed through the window, held the victim at gunpoint and stole several items.
When authorities went to serve the warrant, Mendoza says Sharp refused to come out of his room, but he eventually surrendered to police peacefully.
