1 killed, 3 injured in crash near Midland

MIDLAND, TX (KCBD) - A crash outside of Midland Wednesday evening killed one person and injured three others, including a Lamesa man.
DPS reports that a Volkswagen Jetta collided with an International 4300 commercial truck head-on. It happened on State Highway 185 southeast of Midland just after 6 p.m.
The driver of the Jetta, Craig McDowell, 26, of Kemper, Texas died. First responders took the driver of the International, Bonifacio Navarette, 61, of Stanton, Texas to Midland Memorial Hospital with unspecified injuries.
Two passengers in the International, Anthony Padron, 22, of Stanton and Roland Delgado,18, of Lamesa, also went to the hospital with injuries.
