Patricia Dennis rejects plea deal in murder-attempted suicide, trial begins Monday

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Patricia Dennis rejected a plea deal Friday morning in the murder-attempted suicide that left her husband dead.
Sheriff's deputies arrived at a home in Saddle Club Estates, near Indiana and Woodrow Road back on the night of Feb. 27, 2014. They say they found 53-year-old Tracy Don Dennis dead in the front yard with gunshot wounds.
We're told Tracy was Patricia's ex husband.
Investigators believe she shot herself after shooting Tracy.
Dennis is set to go to trial Monday, August 17. Her bond has been set at $1 million.
