LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Just an hour ago, law enforcement officers across Texas and beyond turned on their emergency lights as part of Governor Abbott's call to stand with law enforcement.

In Lubbock County, law enforcement gathered at the civic center.

Police, sheriff's deputies, and state troopers stood outside their vehicles with the lights flashing.

Garza County officers also took part at their courthouse. New Mexico officers in lea county also paid tribute. They gathered in Hobbs and Lovington and turned on their emergency lights.

Governor Abbott says respect and pride in our law enforcement must be restored in Texas and the nation.
