Police I.D. man found shot in vehicle along MSF Friday morning

Lubbock Police Detectives are investigating a shooting in the 6000 block of Marsha Sharp Freeway.

This morning, Friday, September 11, 2015, at approximately 4:25 a.m., patrol officers responded to an accident with injuries call in the 6000 block of MSF. Officers arrived and located a gold, Chevy Cobalt on the south side of MSF. The driver and only occupant, had multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to UMC with life threatening injuries.  Police have now identified the driver as Christopher Loggins, 49.

Detectives were called to the scene and are investigating. It is unknown at this time where the shooting took place. More information will be released as it becomes available.
