LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The State Fire Marshall's Office is now investigating an explosion at a home in Gaines County that critically injured a mother and her 18-month-old child.

It happened just before 5 p.m. Tuesday at a home south of Seminole along U.S. Highway 385.

Both victims were airlifted to University Medical Center in Lubbock.

Family tells us that the victims are Jessica Dilgadillo, 22 and Lucky Franco, 18 months. Family members say that Dilgadillo and Franco were the only two people in the home at the time of the explosion.

Investigators are still trying to determine what sparked the explosion, but authorities say no foul play is suspected.
