LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - UPDATE: Lubbock police have released pictures from surveillance video of a suspect who robbed 7-Eleven in the 5000 block of University at gunpoint.

Police are looking for a suspect in armed robbery at 7-Eleven in Central Lubbock.

Officers say a man, armed with a handgun, robbed the 7-Eleven at 50th and University around 2:40 a.m. Tuesday. He then ran north on University.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male wearing tan coveralls, a blue hoodie and a blue bandana.

Police also responded to a stabbing just a few blocks away from 50th and University at a home in the 2300 block of 48th Street. Police found the victim in the home. The victim says he was beaten and stabbed by three men at Clapp Park.

The victim was taken to UMC with moderate injuries. No name has been released at this time.

Police are working to find out if the robbery and stabbing are related.
