Tech Alumni come together for Homecoming 2015

The Frazier Pregame Party held in the Frazier Alumni Pavilion Saturday brought together former Red raiders from near and far to celebrate coming home to their alma mater.

You can always find proud alumni at Tech games, but today’s Homecoming game was a special day for them.

“A Tech game, there is nothing like it. It brings you back and for a few hours you’re eighteen again," alumna Sandra Hughes said.

Homecoming weekend provided alumni with the opportunity to see the changes on campus, and spend time with old friends, classmates and teammates.

“It’s almost like I never left. I mean the excitement, the spirit, and it brings tears to my eyes because Texas Tech is such tradition and such family to me. This is my family," a Tech Cheer alumna said.

“We all had a special time here at Tech and it’s just nice to get to see everyone after a long time not seeing some of the folks that I cheered with," cheer alumnus Tommy Deloach said. Deloach traveled in from North Carolina with his wife and son.

“With all the changes, physical changes and elevation of our academic program at Texas tech, and the move towards tier 1 status. I think everybody is in a really good mood about Texas Tech," Bill Dean, Executive VP of Alum Association, said.

“I love seeing everybody just dressed in red and black excited about football, excited about Texas tech and seeing the comradery," alumnus Brian Scheele said.
