LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock police are looking for two people suspected in multiple robberies on Monday night.

Dollar General at 901 Slide Road was robbed around 9:10 p.m.

The first robber is described as a Hispanic man in his early 30's, wearing a red cap, with a grey pullover and white sweatpants. He is described as 6 feet tall with a mustache.

The other is a white woman wearing black pants and a black shirt, a red hat and sunglasses.

Less than 10 minutes before, police responded to a report of a robbery at the Subway at 57th & Slide.

This makes the 11th business robbery reported in Lubbock just this month.

Just this month, robberies occurred at Taco Villa, 7-Eleven, Subway and Savers all on 50th Street, and just a few streets away on 53rd Street, Dollar Tree was also hit.
All of these crimes involved threats with deadly weapons.

Then, there were also robberies that happened at Fred's Gun Emporium last Tuesday and just two days later, an at All Star Liquor at 34th and Salem. Both included threats from robbers with handguns.

There have also been two robberies with deadly weapons reported at 4th and Frankford. The first one was on October 15 at Gamestop, and the most recent was last Thursday at Radio Shack.

Dimba's Chicken and Seafood is at that location and the owner, Alex Dimba, said he has been in the area for about 15 years now.
He says he has never noticed a string of robberies like this until this month, and is considering installing more security cameras.

"We don't know when something like that is going to happen to us if it's happening in this area until they catch whoever is doing it," Dimba said, "or we're still going to be concerned because it was not something that was bothering us before. We're just worried about our own security around here."

Lubbock police continue to search for a number of these robbers.
If you have any information, about any of these incidents you're asked to call Crime Line at 741-1000.
