LPD searching for suspect in Taco Bell robbery

On Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at approximately 9:33 p.m., patrol officers responded to a report of a robbery just occurred at Taco Bell, 2001 50th Street.

A Hispanic male armed with a handgun entered the business and demanded the cashier give him the cash from the cash register and the cashier complied. The suspect then demanded the manager open a second cash register and he took that money and fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his late twenties, 5'11" and 230 lbs. He was wearing khaki pants and a grey hooded sweatshirt with a white t-shirt over it. The suspect also had a burn type mark on the left side of his face.
