LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A lot of events on the Halloween weekend and the weather will cooperate, but there will be some gusty winds to deal with tomorrow.Saturday morning will begin with some clouds and sun and increasing north winds. Speeds of 15-25 mph will control the day from mid-morning to late afternoon for all of the south plains. Winds should diminish just in time for trick or treaters on Saturday night.
Layers will be the best way to dress tomorrow with the gusty winds and early clouds. High temps should reach the 60s, but feel chilly thru noon due to the gusty north winds.
By evening, lighter winds, fair skies and some cool temps for Halloween folks, so once again layers will be the best way to dress for all trick or treaters.
By Sunday morning you'll need to protect the plants as lows fall to the mid to upper 30s for the region. A frost will be possible in some areas Sunday am.
Sunday afternoon will be much better with sunshine, light winds and highs in the 70s again.
