Police looking for man after trio of armed robberies in Southwest Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - According to the Lubbock Police Department there were 3 robberies in Southwest Lubbock Saturday night at a movie theater, a convenience store, and a restaurant.

Police tell KCBD the string of robberies began around 9 p.m., and occurred within an hour. Officials believe the same man went to each location and he was armed with an unknown weapon. He's described as a black male 5'10" to 6' in height. Police say the robber got away with an undetermined amount of cash.

Police tell us these robberies were at the following locations:

  • Cinemark Movie 16 at 5721 58th St
  • Valero at 5720 Texas 327 Spur
  • Denny's at 4718 Slide Rd

They continue to look for the man responsible now.
