LCU Athletics selling t-shirts to help Malori Maddox

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Malori Maddox continues to recover.

Maddox is the the LCU volleyball player who collapsed following the Lady Chaps game against Midwestern last week, because of a brain bleed.

Though Malori remains at U.T. Southwestern University Hospital in Dallas, she is improving, and here in Lubbock, the athletic department at LCU started a fundraiser through "Pray for Malori" t-shirts.

The shirts arrived today, and will be on sale through the athletic department until they're sold out.

Becca Walters, Associate Athletic Director for LCU says, "We want to do anything we can do to support the Maddox family. They've been a big part of our community being from Lubbock. And so this is one way to show our support and give the proceeds to the Maddox family to help them out as much as we can."

Pray for Malori T-Shirts are $20, available at Rip Griffin Center on LCU campus, or by emailing kara.bentley@lcu.edu.

All money raised will help the Maddox family with medical expenses.
