Light wintry precipitation remains possible across the area during the overnight hours through Sunday morning.

Freezing drizzle and freezing rain will be possible as temperatures hover close to the freezing mark in the Lubbock area.

Northwestern areas of the South Plains will likely hold in the upper 20's through daybreak Sunday morning.

Ice accumulations will remain light, but just enough to create the potential for hazardous driving conditions.

Freezing fog may also become an issue reducing visibility to less than a quarter mile during the overnight hours.

Watch out for patchy ice on area roadways, especially on bridges and overpasses.  Windshields may also ice up overnight.

Weather conditions should improve Sunday despite clouds and highs in the upper 30's to lower 40's.
