LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Coronado High School teacher/coach and his wife welcomed a son into the world this past week, but during their time at the hospital, their home was burglarized.

Josh Shaw, the Coronado Band Director, posted on the Official Coronado High School Band Facebook page and wrote "all of their TV's, electronics and microwave were stolen, but more importantly all of their baby clothes, diapers, and wipe." Even the baby's swing was stolen.

Shaw went on to write that, "I feel like we as a group can help their cause."

The Coronado front office will accept packages of diapers, wipes, clothes, a gift card, or anything to help this family until Tuesday afternoon, and will have the officers deliver them on Wednesday.

"This is by no means an obligation, but an opportunity," Shaw wrote. "Thank you for all that you do!"
