Lubbock police searching for shooting suspect

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock Police had blocked off an area around the Indiana Village Apartments on North Indiana Avenue this morning.

The area was closed to incoming traffic as they search for a shooting suspect they believes they were hiding in the complex.

The shooting occurred near Harvard and Knoxville.

The victim reportedly lived in the Cantibury Pointe Townhomes in the 1400 block of N. Knoxville.

Authorities are telling us that the has victim with non-life-threatening injuries.

Lubbock Police tell us that the suspect was reportedly given a ride away from the Indiana Village Apartments area.

The person that gave the suspect a ride has been located according to Lubbock Police.
