SEMINOLE, TX (KCBD) - Former Brownfield High School student and star athlete Sha'Colby Hill pleaded guilty to a 3rd degree felony on Monday morning, according to 106th District Attorney Michael Munk.
Hill was charged with deadly conduct as a result of a 2014 shooting in Seagraves that Hill and three other men were charged in. One person was seriously injured.
Subsequent to the plea Judge Carter Schildknecht began the penalty phase of the proceedings after which she will sentence Hill to a possible sentence of two to ten years or the possibility of deferred adjudication.
District Attorney Munk says the penalty phase is expected to last through Tuesday morning.
