Abilene police search for man considered armed, extremely dangerous after homicide

ABILENE, TX (KCBD) - Investigators in Abilene, TX are searching for a man they consider armed and extremely dangerous, who may be connected to a homicide that happened around 1 a.m. in Abilene.

Officers with the Abilene Police Department were dispatched to a home in north Abilene for reports of a gunshot victim. When officers arrived, they found a second gunshot victim in another nearby home.

The victim from the first home was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The second gunshot victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say Manuel Guadalupe Garcia, 20, has been identified as a person of interest in the homicide. Reports say he has two active felony warrants for his arrest, one for parole violation and the other a federal warrant for possession of methamphetamine.

Officers say "do not approach him under any circumstances."

The identities of the two gunshot victims has not been released at this time.
