Littlefield man, toddler killed in Saturday train crash near Sudan

LAMB COUNTY, TX (KCBD) - A Littlefield man and a 3-year-old boy were killed after the vehicle they were riding in collided with a train on Saturday morning near Sudan.

Officials with the Department of Public Safety say 47-year-old Alicia Molina was driving southbound on CR 115 in a Chevy Equinox around 11 a.m. when the vehicle collided with the train. The crash happened two miles east of Sudan off US 84 in Lamb County.

The passenger, Ismael Ojeda, 48, was pronounced dead at the scene. Both David Ojeda and Alicia Molina were taken to the hospital by Aerocare. The child, 3-year-old David Ojeda died early Sunday morning from his injuries.

Molina is listed in critical condition according to officials.

The crash is still under investigation.
