LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock District Court Judge has signed a gag order in the cases of James and Debi Holland.

Debi Holland is the mother of murdered, Idalou teen Holli Jeffcoat. James Holland is her step-father.  Both are in the Lubbock County Detention Center.

In February, Jeffcoat was found murdered in her home outside of Idalou.

In March, a grand jury indicted James Holland for Continued Sexual Assault of a Child.  Authorities arrested Debi Holland last month.  She's charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault.

According to the gag order dated May 4th, those persons involved in the investigation, the prosecution, and the defense of this case are ordered to refrain from further communication with all news media.

The order states that due to the fact that neither case has been tried, the release of information could potentially cause grounds for a change of venue in both trials.

The order is signed and dated for May 4, 2016.
